Chrystia Freeland is a Canadian politician and journalist who has been serving as Deputy Prime Minister of Canada since 2019. She is also the first woman to hold the position of Minister of Finance in Canada. Born in Peace River, Alberta, Freeland has always been passionate about politics and journalism.
